mate if you've used a TX head its already defectable cause you dont have the EGR (pollution shit) on your car that came with all TE gems...

so yeah may as well go nuts and get a webber

probably best thing you can do is make it look like the egr is hooked up and try make the webber look stock so it would take a pretty clever cop to notice

otherwise ur fucked Smile

I dunno about much about this but..my dad had a Gemini panelvan back in the '80s and he only had 'better' roller rockers and pushrods, lifters and pistons plus some other shit I think, and he could *just* beat a RS2000 and keep up with a turbs bluebird when they first came out. Ill ask him more about it when he gets home. He spent something like $550 max on it and had it done by a guy in or near town that builds race motors.
I hope this helps a bit.

A gemini with pushrods and lifters, haha. Not likely son. Roller rockers? Has anyone ever seen a set for a Gemini, I can imagine that would allow the engine to rev a little more smoothly, but that is about it.

I would say is is the pistons and the other shit that made it so quick...
