Whats the best way to seal a water temp sensor on a manifold. The thread is tapered but that isnt enough. What type of sealant etc should I use??

high temp gasket goo should do the trick

put it on the thread before you put it in.
Thread tape might do the trick also

They were my thoughts pretty much. Im just avoiding doing it me thinks.

Go to a shop that sells hydraulic or pneumatic fittings, ask for a roll of thread tape. You wrap it around the threads to seal them.

Yep thats what I did. Just whipped out some tape from our compressor box of stuff and whacked it on. I think i was just being lazy, which is why my car still isnt running.
