V8 Gemini?

Is it Legal to drop a 5L into a gem? There is one for sale near me and i wanna buy it, but i wanna be able to rego the thing first!

As far as i know NSW you can't unless it's all engenered.OU MAY GET AWAY WITH IT IN OTHER STATES BECAUSE OF THERE EASY REGO LAWS

I don't think any states will let you register it without getting it engineered first.

wont happen in QLD thats for sure. a gen 3 was tryed and couldnt pass any engineering.

I got a spare gem and might have a spare 253 V8 if my mate upsizes his ute to a 308. That will be fun Wink

been done, chaind it down to the crossmember and got out of shape when revved,

Makes you wonder why it is not registered already. if someone was serious about doing a decent swap then they would have looked into the certification side of it.
