ok for and example I have a 9 inch under my gem,
it envolves a piazza diff, a gemini diff and a 9 inch diff, a special cross member and 2 special arms to replace the torque tube and a long tail shaft.
piazza diff for the brakes and tube ends gemini diff for the spring buckets and 9 inch for the center housing
cheers |

whats wrong with this diff housing? can i use it if i shorten it .. it has the upper arms on it instead of torqu tube still . could i get it fitted in a similar way to yours with the long tailshaft..
but without changing housing to a 9 inch or hylux ..so will my lsd center fit in a diesal or is mine different to other piazza centers |

If what you are saying is that you gave a Piazza LSD diff, the centre mechanicals are the same (except yours is an LSD centre while Geminis used single wheel diffs) as those used in Gemini diesel diffs.
So what you need to do is to strip the gears and diferential cluster out of the gemini diesel housing and replace it with the equivelant components from the Piazza. Torque tubes on the diesel diffs and centre mount are different to those on the petrol diffs too.
As I mentioned it another post, I'd be inclined to give the job to a trusted, experienced diff rebuilder to assemble it into the new housing. Incorrect assembling will result in a failed diff in very short time.
By the time you hear it howl the damage is already done. _________________ I try to tackle one day at a time, but often several days attack me at once.
